Assessment and self-review policy
Why this policy matters
A practical reflection is not a psychological test, and a psychological test is not a clinical screen. This policy states what each tool can provide and what it must not claim. Madarej never uses a score to judge faith, sincerity or human worth.
What is available now?
The current tools are original Madarej self-reviews. They help a reader notice a behaviour or habit and choose a small action to review later. They are not standardised, do not diagnose a condition and do not assign a fixed personality type.
Types of tools and their limits
- Practical self-review: describes observable behaviour and suggests a testable next step without diagnosis or labelling.
- Trait or developmental measure: requires documented item sources, licensing, reviewed translation, Arabic validity and reliability evidence, and clear interpretation limits before publication.
- Mental-health screen: requires clinical oversight, a safety and referral protocol, and stronger privacy safeguards.
- Learning assessment: must connect to stated learning outcomes, tested questions and a defined interpretation method.
Privacy of answers
Your answers and results stay on your device in the current reviews, and you can export or delete them. Answers are not sent to Madarej and no account is required. If you consent to usage measurement, we may count aggregate completions without receiving your answers or result.
A clear record for every release
Every tool should state its version and date, intended construct, exclusions, validation status and reviewers. Version 0.1 of the current reviews is an early practical release, not a standardised or clinical measure.
Who reviews the tools?
We will not publish a psychological measure or clinical screen until it has appropriate specialist review and completed licensing, validation and safety steps. No endorsement is attributed to a person or organisation without explicit approval.
