We sat on the rug.
Between Dad and me was a big soft ball.
Dad rolled it towards me.
“Your turn.”
The ball reached my knees.
I hugged it.
Then I gave it a little push.
“My turn,” said Dad.
The ball went back to him.
Then he rolled it once more.
Your turn… my turn… your turn.
The ball stopped between us.
We looked at it.
Then a new turn began.
